About headspace Collingwood
headspace Collingwood is a local consortium of ten agencies including public mental health services, psychiatric disability & rehabilitation services, drug and alcohol agencies, local government, employment and education and private providers. This strategic alliance of services aims to establish a local and collaborative service which will improve access to services for young people aged 12-25 years at risk or suffering from mental health (MH) and alcohol and other drug (AOD) disorders. This service also provides support to their families.
What We Are Looking For
Collingwood headspace has a unique opportunity for a Youth Worker to be part of a team establishing a brand new headspace centre in inner urban Collingwood. The Youth Worker will provide outreach support to young people and their families and or carers in need. As a Youth Worker you will posses well developed engagement skills and will be keen to work in a team environment, working with staff from co-located services as well as Private Practitioners, assisting young people to access health and vocational services. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to expand their skills and knowledge within this area.
