Wild At Heart is seeking an arts project manager to join our small team in running statewide songwriting, hip hop, music and arts based programs for people who experience mental health challenges, disability and disadvantage.

The programs work with people who may experience significant isolation and disadvantage to tell their stories through original arts making, connect with others in shaping their cultural identity and engage with the broader community through their music and arts making.

You will be

  • A great people person, team player and a network builder
  • An excellent communicator, relating with our participants, their families and program artists, funders and other key stakeholders
  • A highly skilled project manager with excellent organizational skills, a clear eye on the goal and fastidious attention to detail
  • Aware of the transformative power of community arts making and how to shape and support the environment in which this can happen
  • Well networked within the arts and community arts scene in Melbourne

Wild At Heart is one of Australia’s leading disability arts organisations, providing opportunities for people to to tell their own stories through arts and music and gain a voice in society through their artistic work.

Employment: up to 2.5 days per week depending on specific projects and new work coming on stream in metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Wage: a competitive market based rate to be negotiated.
