Wentworth Community Housing Limited is seeking applications from experienced and passionate housing services professionals for the role of Client Service Officer Tenancy in Wentworth’s Housing Services team. The opportunity is a full time permanent role commencing immediately for the right candidate. This role is classified as a Grade 4 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, which attracts a gross salary of $72,875 per annum (base + super). As Wentworth is a not-for-profit organisation, salary packaging is available.

This role will be based in Wentworth's Penrith office, but may require travel between Wentworth’s Penrith, Windsor and Katoomba offices, client sites, and other locations as required from time to time.

About the Role

The position is responsible for the performance of a full range of tenancy management functions to assist clients achieve long-term sustainable tenancies with Wentworth.

As the CSO Tenancy, your duties may include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting sign ups of tenancies, explaining the conditions of the tenancy in accordance with Wentworth’s policies and the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Liaising with Real Estate Agents and/or landlords in relation to proposed market rent increases and administer market rent increases for leasehold tenants
  • Representing Wentworth at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) where required
  • Addressing issues relating to breaches of tenancy agreements to achieve resolution
  • Maintaining working relationships with other community support/service providers and refer tenants to other services where appropriate
  • Managing all tenancy matters for a property portfolio
