About the Opportunity

The Project Officer will work collaboratively with General Practices in the region to support better uptake of access to mental health services and psychotherapy. A focus will be placed on educating and upskilling GP practices to enable patients to better understand and access mental health services that are available across the region.

This position is full-time and is funded until June 2020. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has completed relevant tertiary qualifications. Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are a must. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated project management skills and a strong attention to detail. To be successful in this role you will need experience liaising with General Practitioners, General Practice providers, or have experience in a similar customer focused role. Key to this role is your strong I.T. skills and knowledge and use of data bases, Microsoft Office Suite and data security.
