About the Opportunity

The Project Officer Primary Care Initiatives will work as part of the Nepean Blue Mountains PHN Primary Care Support and Development stream. The role will work collaboratively with General Practices in the region to support the implementation and uptake of quality improvement initiatives aligned to accreditation standards and new initiatives including Health Care Homes and the use of digital technologies such as My Health Record.

This position is full-time (part-time negotiable) and is funded until December 2019. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has completed relevant tertiary qualifications in health, business or communications. Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are a must. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated project management skills and a strong attention to detail. To be successful in this role you will need experience liaising with General Practitioners, General Practice providers, or have experience in a similar customer focused role. Key to this role is your strong I.T. skills and knowledge and use of data bases, Microsoft Office Suite and data security.
