About the program

Wesley Vision Valley, located in Arcadia one hour northwest of Sydney CBD, provides recreational camping and conference experiences for children, young people and adults, including camps which support the disadvantaged in our community.

About the role

We are currently seeking a Sales & Guest Relations Manager. As site manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the day to day sales, guest relations, maintenance and housekeeping functions, to achieve strategic and financial objectives.

The role requires an energetic and outgoing individual with a professional attitude, ability to prioritise multiple demands, and great customer service. Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm, however some flexibility with working hours will be required including weekends, evenings and public holidays from time to time.

Essential criteria

  • Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams to achieve sales targets
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to operate within income and expense budgets
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Supportive and collaborative management style
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • A demonstrated understanding of Work Health & Safety requirements
  • Current Drivers Licence

Desirable criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Event Management, or Hospitality
  • Experience in sales management
  • Experience in event scheduling software e.g. Ungerboeck USI
  • Experience in accounts and month end reporting
  • First Aid training (Senior or equivalent)
  • Experience working in the camping industry and/or within a Church based context
