The new role of Practice Lead - Communications and Fundraising reflects the new structure of UnitingCare West, with leadership roles based on providing coaching and mentoring support rather than exerting power and control. The position is supported by the Head of Service Operations. You will have the opportunity to craft the role within the KPIs. The pay rate will align with the applicable skills that you bring to it. The hours will be full time and due to the nature of the role will include activities that occur outside of ordinary office hours.

You will bring to the role:

  • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of contemporary theory, practice and its application in your relevant area of expertise:
  • Exceptional relationship building and management skills and a sound external professional network;
  • Capability to initiate and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver requisite outcomes; and
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or commensurate significant experience and appropriate professional development.
