Customer Service Staff - Buggy Drivers assist Travellers Aid Australia provide buggy transfer services and other customer service, including way-finding, to people with mobility challenges. This includes people with a range of disabilities, injuries and health issues. Assistance is provided at and around train stations and venues in accordance with the relevant agreement between Travellers Aid Australia and transport providers/venues.

Role

  • Central location
  • Drive a golf-buggy between Flinders Street Station, Federation Square and Melbourne Cricket Ground to assist people with mobility challenges to connect between transport and venues during train disruptions
  • 6-23 April 2019
  • Casual shifts
  • Daily 8am-11am and 4pm-7pm
  • Before and after AFL games at the MCG
  • Out in the fresh air

About you

  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Visa entitlement to work
  • Experience in disability, aged care or customer service will be highly regarded
