Client Support Officers assist TAA customers at all locations through the provision of high-quality client services. They ensure that TAA remains a welcoming and safe environment for all, by providing support, advice and assistance at the point of need to the travelling public with special requirements and those in emergency situations.

Your day-to-day

Based at the Travellers Aid CBD sites, principally Southern Cross Station and Flinders St Station, a typical day will include:

  • Buggy transfer assistance for older people and people with mobility challenges,
  • Meal assistance, toilet and other personal assistance for older people, people with a disability and visually and movement impaired travellers,
  • Provide emergency relief and,
  • Transport and tourism information.

About you

You will have experience working with people with disabilities, older people and people from diverse backgrounds and are looking to apply your skills in a dynamic and varied environment.


  • Current Victorian Divers Licence
  • Personal care qualification at the level of Certificate III in HACC or greater, such as Certificate IV in Disability Studies
  • Full unrestricted work visa
