The Top End Women’s Legal Service (TEWLS) is a small, non-profit community legal centre providing free legal advice, information and referrals to women. We are seeking enthusiastic applicants who are keen to make a positive contribution to assist women in the Top End.

An exciting new position exists at TEWLS for an Indigenous Community Liaison Officer. The successful applicant will assist with our Indigenous Women’s Project through liaising with Aboriginal communities in the Darwin area, and helping to plan and deliver our services to those communities.

This part-time position requires an organised and self-motivated person who has an understanding of Indigenous cultures and community dynamics. Indigenous Australians are strongly encouraged to apply.

The salary level for this position will be Level 4 or Level 5 of the SACS Award, depending on experience. Salary packaging is available.
