  • Part-time | 4 days | flexible | 12 month contract

Support TEAR’s incredible volunteer fundraisers as they inspire people to champion TEAR and fundraise in their communities. TEAR is committed to gender equality; this role can also be worked flexibly over five days per week within school hours.

Is this you?

  • You have well-refined customer or supporter service experience. You understand that every interaction contributes to mission and you that is why you strive for excellence.
  • You get the local church context; you may have worked in one, you’ve definitely volunteered for a good length of time. This insider experience will help you understand the context of the volunteer fundraisers you will support as they navigate their church context.
  • You’re a natural collaborator; you have great relational skills and work well with others.
  • You make it happen; you have a strong ability to work to targets and deliver objectives.
  • You like to improve things; you’re always spotting ways to make things better and more efficient.
  • You want to see heaven on earth; your goal is to make sure that every Christian in Australia is challenged and empowered to make biblically-shaped responses to poverty and injustice.
  • You have solid experience with Customer Relationship Management software; you can effectively manage the input and tracking of data to help inform the bigger picture.

TEAR is a Christian development, relief and advocacy organisation responding to global poverty and injustice. We work in partnership with our supporters toward a just and compassionate world in which all people have the opportunity to achieve their God-given potential. To work at TEAR is to live out your vocation; a space where your faith, passion for justice and skills intersect. TEAR offers generous salary packaging benefits, a friendly and flexible work environment, and will challenge you on your faith and justice journey.
