Marketing & Promotions Officer

• Salary $50,700 - $59,280

TAIHS is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health service operating as a group practice. This practice has operated since 1975 and is located in modern purpose built premises. Services are provided by general practitioners, allied health professionals, a mental health team including a psychologist and a fully trained team of nurses and health workers. There are maternal and child, eye and dental health units, we provide holist health and wellbeing care as well as a range of social services.

Duties for this position will include:

• Provide advice on marketing and promotional options for the promotion of the TAIHS corporate image at local, state and national levels.
• Create promotional material and themes as required for the promotion and recognition of TAIHS as an organisation
• Ensure the best interests of TAIHS in all intellectual property and copyright entitlement and matters
• Assist in identifying specific target groups and development of marketing strategies to reach those target groups

Requirements for all positions

• Have a current Suitability ’Blue Card’ for working with children and young people
• Have a current Queensland Driver’s licence
• Have a reasonable level of computer literacy including use of Outlook; Word & Excel
