TAIHS is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health service operating as a group practice. This practice has operated since 1975 and is located in modern purpose built premises. Services are provided by general practitioners, allied health professionals, a mental health team including a psychologist and a fully trained team of nurses and health workers. There are maternal and child, eye and dental health units, we provide holist health and wellbeing care as well as a range of social services.
Required skills and experience
- Collate reports, correspondence and information
- Assist with the compilation of statistics
- Provide administrative support to the team
- Maintenance of data and filing systems
Candidates must demonstrate a high-level of communication and administration skills. A sound level of computer knowledge and literacy is required to fulfill the duties of this position.
Requirements for position
- Have a current Suitability ’Blue Card’ for working with children and young people
- Have a current Queensland Driver’s licence
- Have a reasonable level of computer literacy including use of Outlook; Word & Excel
