What’s the role about?

We are looking for a vibrant, proactive and motivated person who is ready to explore a front line management role as a Team Leader in our accommodation services in the Lower North Shore area. As a Front Line Manager you will be responsible for leading and supporting your team within the program, maintaining effective communication with clients, families and stakeholders.

We encourage you to be creative, flexible and innovative in exploring different ways to help people to grow into their full potential, creating opportunities for the people we support while guiding your team to perform their best within the values of the organisation.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Experience in a leadership role, managing time, planning and organizing work schedules and demonstrating initiative when working without direct supervision
  • A passion and solid experience working with and supporting a range of people with a disability and an understanding of their complex needs
  • Excellent communication, organisation, presentation and leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop these skills in others
  • High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude
  • Reliable, team focused and committed to achieving excellence in the community service sector
  • Can facilitate and implement Person Centred plans, Behaviour Support plans & Health Care plans
  • Ability to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the service and the people we support.
