Where you come in:

In this full time permanent role based in our Perth office, you will work on timely and accurate financial and management reporting (including preparation of budgets and forecasts) on state office operations and programs for internal and external use. You will oversee processing of income and expenditure to ensure processing is carried out in a timely and accurate manner. • Assisting Program and State managers with the development of budgets for proposals and tenders for new programs
  • Preparing and reviewing month end reports and commentary
  • Preparing donor acquittals and supporting the central Finance team with audit processes
  • Supporting the State and Program Managers with ongoing management and maintenance of the Award Management System (AMS)

If we could compose the perfect you…

…You'll be committed to providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, and will easily build strong interpersonal relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to the team. You'll be comfortable with juggling multiple conflicting priorities, and will thrive when working under pressure and to tight deadlines. You'll have high levels of attention to detail and quality, and will have well developed verbal and written communication skills.

This role requires:

  • Previous relevant experience in an Accountant / Assistant Accountant role
  • Experience in management reporting and operational accounting
