About the position

An opportunity exists for a person with minimum four years program management experience, ideally in the NFP/NGO or research sector.

The SRI is run by a small professional team and the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently. The SRI is seeking a program manager to create, deliver and manage a range of programs to support research collaboration and consumer engagement in the research process, including travel grants program, mentor program, early career researcher engagement, regional outreach program, and education programs. The program manager will also facilitate and support user engagement on the SRI’s Spinal Cord Research Hub (SCoRH) – our online research collaboration platform.

About you

  • Proven experience in creating and delivering user-engagement programs from beginning to end.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven experience in managing multiple programs at one time.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communications skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
  • You have a passion for working in the not-for-profit sector and a strong belief in making a difference.
