The Social Research Centre is a specialist provider of research services to government and academic institutions. Our core aim is to enhance knowledge and contribute to informed decision-making through conducting a high quality social research.
The Position
The Social Research Centre is looking to appoint a Project Manager to work as part of our Health Outcomes Team.
This position has a focus on excellence in project execution, taking a key role in project management including planning and development, data collection and outcome reporting. Our Project Managers are responsible for the day-to-day logistics over the life of research projects whilst managing client expectations regarding project specifics.

Selection Criteria
- A Tertiary Degree or Graduate Qualifications in a relevant discipline OR an equivalent level of expertise gained in a research environment
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in social, health or government research services
- Well developed quantitative research skills such as sampling, questionnaire design, statistical analysis and reporting
- Research experience in a CATI environment
- Experience in using SPSS
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other packages relevant to projects
- Excellent project management skills
- Display excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and have the ability to write for a range of audiences
- Client focused and a strong team player
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
- A genuine interest in further developing a career in social and health research
