Healthy Land and Water is seeking a motivated professional to assist the Monitoring and Research Team to facilitate the delivery of environmental, social and economic data products to our members and the wider community. Healthy Land and Water is a vibrant not for profit, independent organisation working to protect and improve the health of natural assets in south east Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your knowledge and experience to progress your career, whilst making a contribution to environmental sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated spatial analytical ability using GIS (including some coding), data collation, synthesis and analysis skills using spreadsheets, database software and statistical packages.
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to convey and disseminate technical and scientific information in an easy to understand format.
  • Ability to work within, and provide support to, a team while under limited supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and flexibility, to achieve set goals and tasks, meet deadlines and manage competing and/or changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage stakeholder relationships, including maintaining a collaborative professional network.
  • Applicants with at least 3-4 years of industry experience will be preferred
