An exciting full-time opportunity exists for a highly-skilled office management & tech-savvy professional to join the Reach team in our Collingwood office.

Being young is not without its struggles. Today’s world is pretty complex and young people can experience a bunch of challenges that adults might not be able to relate to. One of the biggest hurdles is just having the confidence and support to be who they want to be.

There are currently over 4 million young people living in Australia, and Reach works with over 40,000 of them a year. We have over 250 of them working for us; designing and delivering workshops in schools and the community. Our workshops are 100% youth-led, from design through to delivery, and the community we create out of these workshops is one that allows for deeper connection, a sense of belonging, and the dispelling of judgements. Who are you?

You are a qualified, experienced and passionate professional who will embrace and engage with the essence of Reach as a key member of the Finance & Operations team. The Manager, Office & Technology is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Dream Factory in Collingwood and Reach’s Redfern office, holding national responsibility for organisation-wide functions such as IT platforms and systems (both ongoing operation and project management of new system implementations), OH&S and technical equipment, as well as facilities management projects and office volunteer management.

  1. Preferred: Tertiary qualification, preferably in Business, Accounting, Marketing or IT
  2. Essential: Prior office management and/or facilities management experience, including a high level of competence in using IT tools and the ability to trouble shoot basic IT issues on the ground and over the phone
  3. Essential: Prior experience in OH&S management including an understanding of all relevant OH&S legislation
  4. Experience in system implementation and support, preferably extending from user requirements to user acceptance testing, cutover and implementation support
  5. Ability to guide and support others through system implementation, including skills in developing clear instructions and support tools for new users
  6. Customer service orientation and a desire to ensure all key office systems and tools are functioning efficiently and effectively
  7. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  8. Commitment to personal development and self reflection, and alignment with Reach's values
  9. Having the right to live and work in Australia.
