An exciting full-time opportunity exists for a switched-on and skilled HR graduate to join the Reach team in our Collingwood office.

Being young is not without its struggles. Today’s world is pretty complex and young people can experience a bunch of challenges that adults might not be able to relate to. One of the biggest hurdles is just having the confidence and support to be who they want to be.

There are currently over 4 million young people living in Australia, and Reach works with over 40,000 of them a year. We have over 250 of them working for us; designing and delivering workshops in schools and the community. Our workshops are 100% youth-led, from design through to delivery, and the community we create out of these workshops is one that allows for deeper connection, a sense of belonging, and the dispelling of judgements. A preventative, instead of having to focus on symptoms in adult life.

Who are you?

You are a qualified and passionate HR graduate who will embrace and engage with the essence of Reach as a key support for the Programs, HR and Learning & Development (L&D) teams in our Melbourne office. Reporting to the National Manager, Programs, the Coordinator Admin & Office Experience provides effective logistical and administrative support to Reach’s Program Managers in Victoria so that Reach programs run smoothly. This role also provides vital project and admin support to the managers of HR and L&D to enable them to function effectively within the organisation.

The Coordinator Admin & Office Experience also holds an important front-of-house responsibility, being the first contact for visitors and callers to the Reach office. This role therefore represents Reach and is expected to embody Reach’s brand while also providing a professional response to all they are in contact with, internally and externally.

  1. Required: Qualification in HR Management or similar discipline (or at least two years' experience in providing hands-on HR support)
  2. Excellent computer literacy, and experience using a range of software including Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and/or database systems, including working with data
  3. Exceptional administration and organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail
  4. Respectful of the sensitivity of confidential personal information, and able to keep confidential information private and protected
  5. Resilience and ability to cope with periods of high workloads
  6. Commitment to personal development and self reflection, and alignment with Reach's values
  7. Having the right to live and work in Australia.
