RSPCA Queensland is seeking a creative, driven Fundraising Coordinator to join their Fundraising team at the Animal Care Campus, Wacol.

About the role:

As Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering some of our biggest fundraising campaigns and activities, to ensure successful and sustainable growth of our fundraising programs. Reporting to the Campaigns Manager, your key focus will be undertaking the delivery of Million Paws Walk and Cupcake Day. We are looking for a specialist in social and digital fundraising to drive retention and growth and you will also work across Queensland to support fundraising in our regions.

Exceptional communication skills are critical to this role, as you’ll need to liaise with internal and external suppliers. You will also assist in the preparation of collateral for appeals, including newsletters. You will be required to provide monthly reporting of individual giving activities, key metrics including attrition rates, results and statistics. In addition, you will be working with staff and volunteers in our regional centres to support them in their fundraising activities, providing guidance and advice around best practice, which will include some travel.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Fundraising;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels;
  • Proven experience with data entry;
  • Experience using e-marketing software, social networking sites, including online registration systems;
  • Experience supervising and motivating volunteers.

This is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week (being 38 hours plus 2 reasonable additional hours). Due to the nature of this role, some after hours, weekend work and extensive travel will be required.

The salary for this position is $55,000 per annum (plus super) depending on skills and experience.
