About the role:

As an organisation with a profound legacy of over 80 years of service and partnership between the NSW Police Force and the community, we are extremely excited about our future. Forming part of the Executive Leadership Team, this newly created role will be pivotal in securing long term, high value partnerships for PCYC NSW, which will significantly contribute to achieving our 2017-2022 Empowering Young People strategic priorities and objectives.

Reporting to the CEO, you will create and lead the corporate partnership strategy, with the aim of increasing revenue through the acquisition of new corporate partners as well as the expansion of our existing donor portfolio.

As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will:

  • Develop and implement a diverse business development strategy to grow revenue and income streams through corporate partnership, donors and special events
  • Engage the PCYC executive team and Board to gain support in the implementation of the strategy
  • Proactively research, identify and approach prospective organisations that have the potential to become long term partners of PCYC
  • Prepare research briefs and presentation pitches, deliver pitch proposals, and establish new business meetings
  • Effectively manage and grow existing corporate, government and philanthropic partnerships
  • Partner with the Marketing team to coordinate high quality events and activities to further relationships with prospective and existing partners
  • Undertake cost benefit analysis on proposed partnerships to ensure positive return for PCYC NSW and our partners

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Humanities, Business, Marketing & Events or related field (preferred)
  • High emotional intelligence, with a proven track record of building relationships and networking with high net worth individuals and C-suite executives in the corporate sector
  • Extensive experience in commercial business development or a corporate partnerships role within the NFP sector
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role, creating and leading the implementation of strategic initiatives
  • An understanding of corporate social responsibility and cause related marketing practices
  • The ability to demonstrate alignment and create a link between the goals of PCYC NSW and the goals of prospective partners to ensure partnerships are sustainable and mutually beneficial
