OzChild Training and Consulting Services deliver a wide range of programs from one day seminars and workshops to nationally accredited courses. All training is personally negotiated to ascertain the most effective method of delivery maximising training outcomes and participant’s experience.
OzChild provides industry specific educational programmes and services within the following sectors:
- Community Services
- Children’s Services
- Certificate of General Education for Adults (CGEA)
- Careers Pathways
The purpose of the role is to implement and deliver a CGEA with a focus on re-engaging Maori & Pacific Island learners. There will also be student administration & assessment requirements and an evaluation of the program will be required at the completion of the course.
Applicants must possess:
- Minimum Cert IV in TAA/TAE or similar
- Knowledge of the CGEA training package
- Ability to effectively apply adult teaching methodologies and adapt to a range of training needs.
Highly desirable: applicants with a background and / or working knowledge and experience of Maori and Pacific Island cultures.
