The NUW is looking for committed social justice advocates to become Organisers based in Brisbane, Queensland.

Job description

Help create a better working life.
Organise workers in the Union and conduct campaigns to represent their interests at their workpalces
Negotiate with employers on behalf of members.
Handle and resolve grievances member have at their workplace.

The National Union of Workers is currently fighting to organise thousands of low-paid workers in logistics and warehousing, factories, call centres, food and plastics manufacturing and much more.

Experience and qualifications

Essential:

We are looking for others who:

want to fight to protect and advance the jobs, wages and conditions of workers
want to lead the fight in organising workers
have the commitment and passion to recruit new members to the NUW and fight for their issues
have excellent communication and listening skills
