beyondblue: the national depression & anxiety initiative is a not-for-profit organisation working to raise awareness of depression and anxiety, to improve treatment and to reduce the associated stigma.

The Health Systems Support and Advocacy team engages with consumers and carers along with the primary care, chronic illness and rural sectors nationally. These engagements inform beyondblue of the specific needs of people with personal experience of depression, anxiety and related disorders and the needs of their carers.

You will design, implement and evaluate projects and manage partnerships and contracts with government, NGOs and other organisations in the health sector. Your focus will be working with the primary care sector liaising with clinicians, researchers, chronic illness groups and people with depression, anxiety and related disorders. You will be responsible for developing and writing reports and submissions, as well as managing a wide variety of relationships designed to enhance understanding of beyondblue’s key messages within the primary health care sector.

You’re currently a project manager and an innovative thinker with experience achieving results in the primary health care sector. You possess excellent writing and communication skills and have the ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
