NASCA is seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic volunteers to join our remote Aboriginal community team in the Northern Territory. The successful candidates will be highly motivated, have outstanding communication skills as well as a proven track record in working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander young people, delivering program outcomes, and a demonstrated ability to innovate and work effectively in a changing and challenging environment.
NASCA is seeking talented individuals with skills in, but not limited to, the key areas of Sport, Education, Creative Arts, Health & Nutrition. Successful applicants will join our team for a week between February 27th and March 5th 2016 to work with the communities of Laramba, Haasts Bluff, Ali Curung, Yuelamu, Ntaria and Papunya.
ARMtour or ‘Athletes and Role Models tour’, works to increase engagement and resilience of all young Aboriginal participants. By partnering with six remote Northern Territory schools, a skilled team of NASCA staff and volunteers delivers ARMtour in communities for a week, four times per year. The ARMtour team deliver over 700 hours of sport, health, mentoring and personal development activities.
