About the Role

A fantastic opportunity for an innovative Manager to join our team at the Bundaberg Step Up Step Down service which accommodates 10 customers in a modern purpose built facility. In partnership with the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, you will provide leadership and manage all operational aspects of the service.

Your duties include:

  • Providing high quality recovery oriented services to clients and their families and carers
  • Manage, monitor, review and maintain appropriate systems, procedures, and evaluations, inter-agency relationships and staff supervision in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Lead a high performance team through engaging staff, setting clear direction and performance expectation

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind
  • Strong Leadership and Management skills in the Mental Health, Youth, or Community Services Sector with an attention to customer service
  • A positive attitude to the work while promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in managing a budget and meeting KPI’s.
