We have been supporting people dealing with the day-to-day impacts of mental illness, as well as their families, friends and carers for 40 years. Currently we have over 50 service sites throughout Australia that, this year, will provide about 19,000 service engagements to people on their personal recovery journeys.

About the role

Deliver recovery focused mental health services to customers. Reporting to the Centre Manager of the Mind Centre - Bendigo, you will assist in a range of supports that aim to maximise recovery outcomes.

Duties include;

  • Provide service to Fee for Service (FFS) customers, including case coordination, case management and outreach
  • Coordinate short-term focused interventions, psycho-education and mentoring
  • Deliver high quality, person centred services to meet the needs of customers
  • Assist the customer to strengthen their ability to connect with informal, mainstream and funded supports

Skills & experience

  • Minimum qualification Certificate IV in Mental Health. Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Disability or other health related field as designated by Mind
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable; coaching methodology, family work, support coordination or drug and alcohol
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and able to plan and prioritise to meet customers need
