Our work is delivered through large-scale programs, local council programs, grants, partnerships and directly to the community.

The Role

We have a new fixed term opportunity until 2020 for a Fulltime Project Administration Officer to join our Major Projects Team. Supporting a range of exciting and diverse projects focused on energy efficiency and the delivery of retrofit programs, this new role will offer improved administrative capability to enable greater productivity of our Project Coordinators and increase the speed and quality of project delivery.

Administrative support required from this role will include maintaining accurate records and files, preparing and presenting minutes, correspondence, reports and briefings on operational project/program issues, and working with the Project Coordinators to proactively disseminate project information to key stakeholders.

Our projects involve a multi-disciplinary workforce and close liaison with a number of areas within and outside the organisation. Accordingly, an important aspect of this role will be to ensure the delivery of a customer focused service that considers stakeholder needs in accordance with organisational expectations, and to cooperate with managers and coordinators in consultative processes to improve project/programs.

Some of the key challenges and complexities of this role include working in a matrix model across various teams and supporting multiple projects.

Your Competencies:

  • Resilient and enjoys collaboratively working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is purpose-led, results-driven and community oriented.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in project management processes including the ability to balance and respond to competing priorities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent team work skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated personal and professional commitment to the goals of the Moreland Energy Foundation

Your Knowledge and Experience:

  • 1 year + experience in Project Administration
  • General knowledge of the energy market – gas, electricity, renewables
  • General knowledge of energy efficiency, community energy and emerging technologies

Your Qualifications:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Sustainable Environmental Management, Information Management, Business or Project Administration or other related field.

Your Salary:

This is a Fixed Term Fulltime Level 1 role until January 2020 on the MEFL Enterprise Agreement 2018 offering a Gross Annual Salary of $53,532.00 Plus Super.
