About the role

While working locally, the role is part of a growing National L&D team which is committed to creating innovative solutions to business problems by growing the capability of our people. Based in our Warwick office, this role will support both Western Australia and South Australia Client Services teams. We are looking for someone who has the agility to move between a range of projects, and is passionate about making a difference to our client’s lives through the professional development of our people. The role will be fast paced and include the full range of L&D activities.

A job share arrangement (two part time candidates) would be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver core training, review learning programs, and conduct assessments
  • Manage the learning needs analysis for WA and SA employees
  • Assist in the review of current L&D systems and practices
  • Actively work with the L&D Lead to embed the LWB Learning Management System
  • Develop learning programs, including eLearning
  • Manage the scheduling of L&D programs
  • Lead and support L&D projects as required
  • Actively contribute to national L&D projects
  • Report on L&D activity including opportunities for continuous improvement

Travel intrastate and interstate is required (across WA & SA).

Skills & Experience

  • Current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) OR evidence of training and facilitation delivery skills
  • Experience in, and knowledge of, core practices within Out Of Home Care services for children and young people
  • Demonstrated use of a variety of learning and facilitation styles and strategies
  • Experience delivering to pre-existing training materials
  • Demonstrated ability to write learning curriculum from first principles
  • Working knowledge of e-learning
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, consulting and interpersonal skills appropriate to a fast paced environment
  • Current Driver’s Licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
