The Balanggarra Healthy Country Coordinator will take a lead role in growing the capacity and capabilities of the Balanggarra Aboriginal Corporation in taking increased ownership of the Indigenous Ranger Program & Indigenous Protected Areas programs, growing strong in Joint Management related issues, supporting an innovative diversionary juvenile ranger program, raising additional funding streams and applying your mentoring skills to empower Traditional Owners in all Land and Sea management related issues. You will work closely with the BAC Program Officer and other staff in delivering on Healthy Country targets. You will be reporting to and receive guidance from the KLC North & East Program Manager and Balanggarra’s Healthy Country Advisory Committee. 

We are looking for a dynamic individual with proven skills in fundraising, business management and Indigenous engagement. You should demonstrate a good understanding of land and sea management. You should be a natural leader who can build bridges of common understanding on often conflicting issues.
