About the business and the role

Hearth is a progressive NDIS accredited service provider, of in home and community support, operating in the Inner & Outer East and Bayside of Melbourne, from our office in Malvern East. Hearth is a highly regarded disability service provider with strong links and collaboration across the Victorian disability sector.

Due to demand and rapid growth, Hearth is currently seeking an experienced and professional individual to join the leadership team. The role would suit an individual with a background in disability or health compliance.

Compliance and quality are important to Hearth, our participants and our staff. The role is both challenging and rewarding as it ensures our participants are supported by a quality organisation. This enables our staff to provide individual support, nurture sustainable relationships, and create an environment where our participants can live their best lives.

Requirements/ Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience within the disability, aged care, or health sector
  • Compliance or audit experience preferred
  • Ability to execute strategic business plans through innovative and practical solutions across a geographically dispersed workforce
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including policy and process writing
  • Experience with health sector audits, in particular NDIS accreditation requirements
  • Understanding of OHS in home, and during community access
  • Strong interpersonal skills to drive a positive and empowering compliant, safe, and quality service delivery culture
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Technologically savvy and experienced with the Microsoft office suite
  • Two contactable professional referees
  • Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and national police check

Experience

A degree in a relevant field such as allied health, law, or risk management, or significant compliance experience within the sector.
