The Team Leader Enhanced Triage is critical in the initial engagement and development of successful relationships with clients to ensure they have access to appropriate treatment and advice. Triage is the first important step in the recovery process. This program is essential to the Mental Health Program and the services it offers patients, carers, services and the wider community.
The Triage Service is a telephone based triage service and is one of two entry points into the Mental Health Program- the other being the Emergency Departments. As such it is crucial to the referral process across all sites where a Mental Health Assessment is required. It includes all referrals into the Adult, Child and Adolescent (CAMHS) and Aged Mental Health Service. This position is integral to ensuring that the program runs in an efficient manner.
This position is for a dynamic and forward thinking individual who will provide strategic and operational leadership in the final planning, implementation and ongoing running of a range of redeveloped community clinical teams in partnership with the Clinical Director (CAMHS). The position is based in Shepparton, located on the Goulburn Murray River in Northern Victoria approximately 181 kilometres north-east of Melbourne. Shepparton is an agricultural and manufacturing centre. It is a major regional service city.
