Jigsaw Learning is at the beginning of something quite special - using industry leading training techniques, we have a vision to re-shape the way people with disability receive employment training. To make this vision reality, we are seeking a proactive and committed manager to take Jigsaw Learning to the next level and deliver a program that has all the ingredients to successfully transition people with disability into Award-wage employment.

The Role

You will report to the Hub Manager of Jigsaw and work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve agreed outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the Jigsaw Learning team to deliver the best employment-training program for people with disability in Australia.
  • Coordinate Learning Facilitators to ensure all Jigsaw Learning participants receive the correct group and one-to-one training in line with their NDIS plan and as stipulated by the JIgsaw Learning program.
  • Alongside Learning Facilitators, deliver group and one-to-one training in line with Jigsaw Learning’s curriculum.
  • Manage all administration and reporting associated with Jigsaw Learning and the NDIS.
  • Inspire the Jigsaw Learning team to promote a person-centred approach to all participants who access the program.
  • Demonstrate and ensure compliance with all legislation and policies and procedures to ensure appropriate health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.

You are the right person for this role if you have:

  • Previous experience in education/training environments.
  • High bandwidth for multi-tasking.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Natural aptitude for and experience in delegation and managing people.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Total commitment to the values, behaviour and culture of Jigsaw.
  • Ability to inspire growth and development in people.

It is also important that candidates:

  • Possess or be willing to obtain a current satisfactory National Police Clearance Certificate and working with children check.
  • Possess or be willing to gain a Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Possess a current unrestricted NSW driver's license.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a certificate in training and assessment.
  • Possess a working knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
