The Role

Are you a superstar administrator looking to apply your skills in a not-for-profit setting? If you have a passion for continuous improvement, best practice, creating efficiencies, and enabling others to do their jobs better, then we need you!

The responsibilities of this role are broad and span operations and project management, executive and admin support, compliance and risk, people and organisational development support, and team support. We need someone with high bandwidth, versatility and willingness to go the extra mile to free up the CEO, COO and Executive leadership to focus on strategy and growth.

This role would suit a sharp recent graduate with aspirations to be a COO or CEO one day, looking to start start their journey and make their mark. The Candidate

You are the right person for this role if you have:

  • Relevant qualification and/or 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills, and ability to work to deadlines in a highly dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • An advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office package, Google for Business, and some experience with cloud-based CRMs
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of effective governance administration processes
  • Good understanding of work health and safety and childsafe practices
  • A warm and professional manner with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems, and improve processes and systems to create efficiencies
  • A proactive work ethic and ‘sleeves-rolled-up’ willingness to jump in, collaborate, and get any job done
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally attend meetings and events after hours and on weekends

It is also important that candidates:

  • Have a passion for (and/or experience with) working with people with disability
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a current satisfactory National Police Clearance Certificate and working with children check
  • Possess a current unrestricted NSW driver's license
  • Have the right to work in Australia
