The Communications Assistant is a vital supporting role in the Communications team, with a digital focus. You will grow our presence online to support the growth of Fighting Chance and it’s social enterprises, Avenue and Jigsaw. Your key areas of accountability include:

  • Content & digital platform coordination
  • Data and brand asset coordination
  • Administration and support

Content & digital platform coordination

  • Coordination and development of digital content for a range of audiences, across a range of channels (including social media, web, and eDM) to support Fighting Chance and it’s enterprises.
  • Manage Google Adwords and implement effective analytics (SEO, Google Analytics, Facebook analytics etc) to measure and report on the performance of communications and content.

Data and brand asset coordination

Support the Communications Manager to implement communications strategies via:

  • Effective coordination of multimedia, including video and images.
  • Designing on-brand graphics, assets and collateral for digital and print.

Administration & support

  • Work with the intake team to create communications which support their lead generation.
  • Analyse and report to Communications Manager on the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, to inform decision making.
  • Research competitors to ensure a competitive advantage and clear communication of our POD to the market.
  • Regular reporting to Communications Manager on performance against KPIs; contribution to Management reporting, including to SMG and Board Reporting as requested.
  • Ad hoc administrative and other support for the Communications Manager.
