Reporting to the Senior Resource Mobilisation Coordinator, the Business Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the business development activities for the Resource Mobilisation team, conducting desktop research and market intelligence for opportunities with institutional donors, and developing high quality material to communicate with a range of audiences the breadth and depth of the Foundation’s programmatic, advocacy and research work.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Experience in synthesizing technical information into formats suitable for a range of different audiences
  • Experience in managing production of content for donor audiences
  • Experience in Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities for international development programs with institutional donors
  • Highly advanced written communication skills, with the ability to write and produce high level documents.
  • Highly proficient in MS suite of products
  • Proficient in Design software (desirable)
  • Proven planning and organizing abilities.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent people skills, comfortable with various audiences in multiple settings
  • Previous experience working within International Development, or nonprofit sector (desirable)
