The role is best suited to an ambitious and seasoned sales & marketing professional wishing to further their career in the sustainability industry. We are looking for someone with a vision for business strategy and the ability to further develop an already skilled sales team. We require an adept communicator who can seek out new business opportunities and continuous innovation, improvement and creativity within the business. We need an enthusiastic, thoughtful and dedicated person with a strong work ethic, prepared to immediately take possession of a diverse array of sales activities.

Duties include:

  • Managing performance and KPI delivery of the sales team;
  • Providing information, assisting with queries, conducting site visits and providing quotes to interested customers;
  • Completing sales, taking deposits, maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring efficient handover of sales to our installation teams for completion;
  • Contributing to the company's sales strategy, and refine the sales process and range of offerings;
  • Developing and implementing inbound marketing campaigns, marketing automation and lead nurturing;
  • Coordinating all marketing print and digital communications including social media, electronic newsletters, direct mail and other communications;
  • General administration and customer database tasks;
  • Other duties as required - flexibility in this position is vital.

To be successful with your application you will possess the following skills:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with the same company managing small–medium sales teams;
  • Demonstrated large-scale contract and client management experience;
  • Experience with a broad base of marketing activities (events, inbound marketing, direct marketing, database management, digital and social media);
  • Flexibility and eagerness to take on responsibility;
  • Superior organisational and interpersonal skills;
  • Work in the field of solar sales and business development highly advantageous.
