Based in our Alice Springs office alongside our multidisciplinary and dynamic team of more than twenty five professional engineers, project managers, engagement specialists and data analysts, you will work to support the delivery of an exciting and continuously challenging suite of both large and small projects that include housing programs in remote Indigenous communities, commercial and utility scale renewable energy systems in remote and regional areas, and other public and privately funded remote infrastructure developments.

The Business Development Manager role is for an experienced individual who can demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:

  • Designing, directing and implementing of business development strategies;
  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities;
  • Writing tender and other business proposals;
  • Contributing to and promoting Ekistica’s public Knowledge Sharing portfolio;
  • Contributing to projects requiring business and strategic development;
  • Project stakeholder and contractor engagement as required;
  • Experience working with engineering professional in the renewables and infrastructure sector;
  • Experience working in international development settings, ideally in South Asia and Asia Pacific.

In your role with Ekistica, you will also demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of people, as well as show initiative and drive, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

The position is full-time and based in Ekistica’s offices on the beautiful Desert Knowledge Precinct in Alice Springs, with potential travel to project sites and clients within Australia, including remote travel, staying overnight and driving on unsealed roads.

In your role with Ekistica, you will also demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of people, as well as show initiative and drive, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Annual salary range for the position is $65,000 - $72,000 (depending on experience) with superannuation allowance paid additionally at 9.5%
