Desert Support Services (DSS) provides a range of services that are geared towards supporting Aboriginal organisations to achieve a sustainable and independent future, focusing on building capacity by empowering local and regional decision making.

The services provided include program development, project management, organisational support and development and financial services. These services are provided via service agreements to Aboriginal client organisations on a fee-for-service basis.

DSS forms part of the Central Desert Group (CDG) of companies that also include Central Desert Native Title Services and Rockhole Funds Management.  Each company is separately incorporated and operates independently, but work closely together where there are clients and interests in common.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a client focussed, committed and energetic individual to join our finance team to provide accessible and accurate money information to client groups to enable them to make informed business decisions.

The successful person will practice excellence in customer service, have sound knowledge of end of month reporting, and experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders.

This is a key front-line role that takes and leads action and reporting back to clients on money instructions; case manages complex money issues; and supports finance and governance related capacity building initiatives.

As part of your role you may be required to travel to remote areas of Western Australia, including spending time in the field during the field season (March – December).
