There are thousands of people across Australia who can imagine a different, more sustainable future, but don’t know how to go about creating it. The Centre for Sustainability Leadership’s programs are designed to bridge this gap by empowering people to make the world more sustainable.
For the last six years we have been running training programs in Melbourne and Sydney with great success. At the 2009 Melbourne Awards, the Centre was named Community Organisation of the Year, and every environmental category that night was won by one of our graduates and the projects they have been developing. We know that our programs work and are desperately needed on a larger scale. We are now working to take our sustainability leadership offering global via an online program. The online program has the potential to train thousands of people across the globe. We also have strong ambitions to take our in-person training to many cities around the world. We believe that we can make a significant difference in doing so.

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the overall management of the Centre and the implementation of its strategic plan. The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Implementation of organisational strategy
- Program, product and service planning and delivery
- Financial, tax, risk and facilities management
- People and culture management
- Public relations
- Fundraising
- Contribute to the development of strategy
- Board administration and support
We are looking for a strong manager and leader with experience in growing young organisations and a commitment to the vision of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership.
