CREATE Foundation is the peak advocacy body for children and young people in out-of-home care. We are committed to improving the care system through empowering and connecting activities, as well as policy advice.
We currently have an exciting opportunity in our North Hobart office for a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Facilitator to support the CREATE team to deliver programs and services to children and young people with a care experience. This role will inspire connection, empowerment and change through fun and creative events and workshops, by providing leadership opportunities for children and young people who are members of clubCREATE or are Young Consultants, and by working to create positive change within the out-of-home care sector.
Your experience and skills managing, facilitating and promoting programs and events will be well utilised.
This position will have a particular focus on:
- Expanding our clubCREATE membership
- Planning and delivering events, training, and community programs in both metropolitan and regional Tasmania
- Facilitating advocacy and training responses for the out-of-home care sector
- Engaging key stakeholders from the out of home care sector and continuing to develop strong local networks.
