Camp Quality believes every Australian child impacted by cancer should have every opportunity to thrive. We do this by providing innovative programs and services to develop life skills and strengthen the wellbeing of children aged 0 – 13 growing up with cancer, and their families. We support families no matter where they live in Australia, throughout each stage of their cancer journey.

About the Role

As the Family Liaison Coordinator, you will be engaging with and supporting families across Queensland who have had a child impacted by cancer.

You will engage with families as the first point of contact with Camp Quality and facilitate access to our programs and services, based on their individual needs. You will also be the key liaison for hospitals and other NFP’s within Queensland.

To be successful in this position, it is preferable that you have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health, allied health, community services or related area
  • 2 years’ experience within a not for profit or in the health sector, particularly working with hospitals
  • The ability to work sensitively with families from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience working with families affected by serious illnesses
  • Superb interpersonal skills and a proven ability to engage in building relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Flexibility to work independently as well as within and across teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to manage a busy workload and balance competing priorities ensuring deadlines are met
