CAWLS is recruiting for a full-time solicitor to live and work in Tennant Creek providing quality legal advice and representation within CAWLS areas of practice and guidelines.

CAWLS receives funding under the Womens Safety Package to operate a Domestic Violence Unit in Tennant Creek assisting women who experience or are at risk of experiencing Domestic and Family violence.

This is a challenging and rewarding position well suited to a practitioner with experience in domestic and family violence issues, family law, child protection and other relevant practise areas.

Due to the nature and requirements of this role, applicants are required to be female.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an understanding of the cultural, social and economic issues facing women in the Northern Territory, particularly Central Australia and the Barkly regions.
