Growing Together Family Worker
CAFS Early Childhood Parenting Centre
0.9 EFT position
Growing Together offers a small number of parents with an intellectual disability or learning difficulties intensive education and support to assist them to care for their infants.
The successful applicant will join a team of passionate professionals based at CAFS Early Childhood Parenting Centre in Chisholm Street.
Preferably you will have experience in working with families with an intellectual disability or high needs and have the ability to work these families in an educative manner. You will also be familiar with the risk indicators associated with infants and families.
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy, Maternal Child & Health, Education or equivalent are essential.
This 0.9 EFT position is currently funded until 30/6/2011 with 0.45 EFT continuing from this time.
