The Role

A new management position has been created in the Acquisition team at Red Cross. In this role you will lead and deliver a portfolio of integrated multi-channel and supporter-centric strategic initiatives focused on acquisition of and reactivation of lapsed supporters.

You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing an acquisition strategy to deliver on supporter targets and growth in income through supporter engagement (welcome and induction) involving multi-channel direct marketing, community engagement, above the line media and digital. The role will work across multiple income generating Red Cross products (including but not limited to regular giving, single giving, raffles, bequests, community fundraising, workplace giving, volunteers, first aid and new products).

The team sits within the Engagement & Support Directorate working closely with Marketing and Customer Experience to effectively execute activities using marketable insights.

About You

You’re experienced in managing programs, campaigns or products with a track record of reaching targets, have proven budget management skills and are confident leading a team. Your background is in sales, marketing or fundraising and have proven skills in developing and implementing evidence-based consumer acquisition strategies that deliver financial and non-financial targets (this is essential). You have an inquisitive mindset and a courageous approach to innovation.
