As art therapy is a new concept in Mongolia and the few qualified therapists are so stretched. Therefore, an art therapist who will volunteer would play a key role in helping members of MPATA staff to develop a model art therapy program as well as supervise its implementation. This guidance will strengthen both our knowledge and capacity to formulate and deliver a comprehensive program, assist us to serve clients better using quality methodology, and allow us to gain both theoretical and practical experience that will benefit our organisation for the long term.

  • You’ll be developing art therapy training programs that respond to the needs of children families and couples experiencing family violence
  • You’ll need strong knowledge and the theory and application of art therapy that can be adapted to different settings
  • You’ll gain the opportunity to support and organisation that intends to lead the nation in the advancement of art therapy as a regulated mental health and human services profession
