KOTO stands for Know One, Teach One. Learning should be passed on; knowledge is meant to be shared. KOTO provides training to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. KOTO staff have identified that they need professional training to be able to better identify trainees that require additional support, how to work with these trainees when they present with problems and how to refer them to the appropriate local agencies for on-going treatment and support. This assignment would build the capacity of staff in areas such as Mental Health First Aid and general social work skills.

  • The key assignment objective is to provide training and mentoring to improve staff capacity on social work and to ensure staff are equipped with skills and knowledge to support students.  
  • In addition you will map the existing mental health services in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and create referral pathways between KOTO and these agencies.
  • To be successful you will have a bachelors degrees in social sciences, social work, psychology or extensive practical experience coupled with relevant qualifications in a similar field.
