MISA is a regional NGO that aims to promote a free, independent, pluralistic and competent media environment in Swaziland.

MISA is now seeking the assistance of a Research & Media Monitoring Officer - someone with experience in media freedom. A research officer is a key to MISA operations as most of their activities and programmes rely heavily on research findings and depended heavily on data collection, analysis and findings.

You'll get the opportunity to help collect, monitor and analyse data on activities undertaken and information disseminated by mass media and engage the media and network.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A degree in Journalism or Communications or relevant field
  • Experience in media development
  • Applied knowledge of research skills and methodologies
  • Successful results in Newsroom Gathering
