LAKPESDAM is a people-based organisation focused on empowering the community in a range of areas from public participation and leadership to multiculturalism.

It has identified a need to strengthen its management and distribution of information to its members through its website and publications, as well as better overall management of information and communication.

LAKPESDAM has requested an Australian Volunteer who has the necessary expertise to assist the organisation in developing systems for the collection, management and dissemination of data and information, and to assist with writing and producing for publication articles and reports. The organisation will also value English language training in both formal coursework and informal coaching.

In addition to technical expertise in knowledge management, writing for publication and website management, applicants need to demonstrate their skills in training & developing others, applied awareness and sensitivity to cross-cultural communication, patience, tolerance and flexibility.

You will enjoy building rapport and friendly networks with colleagues, while improving your Indonesian language skills and immersing yourself in the diversity of the teeming life of Jakarta.
